From 1964 to 1988 WRAN/WMHQ broadcasted at 1510 on the AM dial from Dover, NJ. With a power of 10,000 watts, this made WRAN/WMHQ the Most Powerful AM Radio Station licensed in the State of New Jersey.

The station went through many changes over the years and finally met its demise in 1988 due to poor management. Primarily serving the residents of Morris County, the BIG 1510 could be heard from High Point and beyond to the North and all the way down to the Jersey Shore.
